There’s something sacred about a morning walk as the sun rises. The world is quiet, the air feels fresh, and for this moment, everything has slowed down. It’s a gentle reminder that no matter what yesterday held, today is a brand-new beginning.

I cherish these quiet morning moments, when I’m the only one awake. It feels like my own sacred time with the Lord—and He seems to delight in it too, painting the sky with a sunrise that feels like a personal gift. The birds lift their morning song, stirring the grass and trees awake, and two jack rabbits dart through the brush as if joining the day’s celebration.

With every step, peace settles in. With every breath, gratitude rises. And as the light climbs higher and the darkness slips away, it feels as though hope is rising right along with it.

“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you.” — Psalm 143:8

The Lord has been moving fast lately! But I’m reminded to still take a moment to pause, breathe, and remember—I’m walking into a new day filled with purpose, grace, and possibility. 🌅

And just like that, the day that began so gently quickly found its rhythm and stared humming with purpose —packing, preparing, meetings, paperwork, and another long drive to a new place. And the Texas heat? It’s no small thing. But through it all, His favor has been evident.

Now, as the night settles in, we get to slow down again — lifting our voices and singing praises to the Lord. Truly, there’s no better way to close the day.

“It is good to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night,” -Psalms‬ ‭92‬:‭1‬-‭2‬ ‭
