When the Journey is Quiet, God is still Moving - Wednesday March 25th, 2026

Some days on this journey feel full — full of new steps, new doors, new confirmations from the Lord. And then there are days like today… quiet, simple, steady. Nothing big happened. No new direction. No sudden shift. Just the gentle awareness that we are exactly where the Lord has asked us to be.

And honestly, that is a blessing all on its own.

Not every moment of a God‑led journey is meant to be loud. Some days are for resting in the path He has already laid before us. Some days are for noticing the peace that comes from obedience. Some days are simply for breathing in His goodness and remembering that being in His will is a gift — even when the scenery isn’t changing.

Today reminded me of the truth in Psalm 37:23: “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way.”   Even on the quiet days, He is ordering our steps. Even when nothing seems to be happening, He is still guiding, still delighting in the path He has us on.

And along this journey, the Lord has placed some truly incredible people in our path — people who have encouraged us, blessed us, prayed for us, and reminded us that God often works through the kindness of others. Their presence has been a gift we don’t take lightly. We are so grateful for every person He has woven into this season.

At the same time, our hearts miss the family and friends back home. Distance has a way of stretching the heart, reminding us just how deeply we love and how rooted we are in the relationships God has given us. Missing them doesn’t weaken the journey — it enriches it. It reminds us that love reaches across miles, and that God holds all of us, near and far.

So tonight, I’m grateful — grateful for the stillness, grateful for the peace, grateful for the people God has placed around us, and grateful for the loved ones we carry with us in our hearts. I’m grateful for the simple assurance that we are walking where He wants us to walk.

The quiet days are part of the journey too, and they are just as holy.
